Day One, April 26th

The Toyota Scion family was
in full effect, showing the sickest rides in town...

The ladies planning their runs.

Grom winners 1st Clay Kreiner, 2nd Steven Pineiro, 3rd Alex Sorgente

There was never a moment when someone wasn't fighting to get in a run.

MC Chris Ball. Realer than real.

Cressy Rice, frontside toe grab

Kona's own Broc Litton, tail blocker

We even had a visit from the Wyldman. Big guns.

BC updating the national news press on the latest scores.

Womens division winners 3rd Jen Stranko, 1st Cressy Rice, 2nd Marlee
Miller

Al Brunelle's bag of tricks is virtually bottomless.

Jordan Price, man size stalefish.

The look on their faces says it all

There was no shortage of cameras around. Every trick, every angle.

Pappa Price getting shots of his son to brag about at work on Monday.

Mike Darkness Barnes used every inch of roundwall to his advantage.

Cason Kirk was an unstoppable machine.

Jordan Price, keeping the photographers happy.

Cason, leaving the coping in his dust.

Family time while waiting for the results...

... as Cassidy Ramos worked furiously to enter the scores.

The judges table

Ever wonder where those incredible moving pics on our site come from
(and most of our pics for that matter)? Here's the man responsible,
Eric Staniford. ESP.

Am winners 3rd Cason Kirk, 2nd Jordan Price, and 1st Al Brunelle

VICTORY!

Series winners :
Grom - Steven Pineiro
Womens - Marlee Miller
Open Am - Timmy Knuth

You can tell Mama was very proud this day. Congrats Steven

The Millers, relaxing after another win. Always a joy to have them around.

And after the awards, everything went back to normal ... oh, did I say
normal? I meant COMPLETE CHAOS. Gotta love it.
Day Two, April 27th

The day started off with the Masters Finale, where the veterans
battled it out.

Good people
with a good cause.

The inspiration
from this contest is sure to create many future rippers.

Todd Johnson
and Benji Galloway

Garr Poe

Donny Griffin
is rumored to be related to David Ector. Smith grind.

A few fans
enjoying the show.

Even the Hooters
girls took a break to watch the show...

... and Steve
Reeves was happy to put on a show for them.

Jimmy the
Greek, keeping the photographers busy.

Finding a
place to squeeze in and watch was tough during the finals.

The girls from Hooters
were hospitable and friendly all weekend, and it was rad having them
around. Come back next year, ladies.

And now to our man
on the street Will Powers for the latest updates.

The ladies had Nolan
Munroe sign their shirts. His face was red, and I don't think it was
from the brutal Florida sun.

Time for the awards!

The volunteers who
helped out through the series all got little prizes. Cassidy Ramos seemed
quite happy with hers.

Masters winners 2nd Jason
Parkes, 1st Paul O'Hara, and 3rd Steve Workman.

Points series winner Buck
Smith wasn't able to skate at Kona due to an injury, but still won.
Don't ask about the injury, and definitely don't ask about the pictures
of the injury.

Pro winners 3rd Kevin Kowalski,
2nd Jimmy the Greek, and 1st Benji Galloway.

For the second year in a row,
Benji Galloway won the Pro points series. Congrats!

The man himself and his prize.

To the victor goes the spoils,
and this prize should really spoil Benji.

And what good is victory without
a victory lap? Beer bomber down the snake.
Thanks to everyone who came
out. See you next year!
